July was PACKED full with many fun activities!!

We went to Kentucky to Amanda's Wedding in early July, then headed straight to Arkansas to Dad's house for our Bibb Family Vacation.  Then finished up July heading to North Carolina!  Sarah-Bethany did SO GREAT with all that traveling!!  Not sure any other baby would be been able to do ALL of that!!  What a Blessing!! :D  God is SO Good for us to be able to spend this much needed time with Family and Friends!

With 3 kids now... that time isn't exactly "Restful" as so much is done in preparation... but Sweet Time indeed!

Introducing... Sarah-Bethany!!

INTRODUCING...... 'Sarah-Bethany' Drake Fryar!!

She was born Tuesday, May22nd at 2:27pm.  Weighing 7 lbs, 7 ounces and 19 inches long.

The C-Section went very well and we are all doing good!!  We should be discharged to go home Friday morning.  Chris has been SUPER Dad and SUPER Loving husband as he cares for both of us while in the hospital.  I am so blessed!!  My Dad has been keeping the boys and bringing them to the hospital each day to see us.  They have all been doing amazing!  We just can't thank G-Daddy enough!!

Now... about this PRECIOUS little baby girl!  She has the sweetest temperament!!  For almost 2 hours after delivery, she just looked around with eyes open taking it all in. She only cries when she really needs something, the rest of the time she just sleeps peacefully or sweetly observes all her surroundings!  She's so sweet and so little!!  She was born with a Head FULL of HAIR!!  Unbelievable!!  It's long and soft and beautiful!  She doesn't like hats too much, but has been fully content to leave my bows in!!  YAY!! :)

Sarah-Bethany's name was chosen for multiple reasons...  Chris and I poured over names for a long time and we had some pretty strict criteria. We wanted a name that was not only personal to us and our family, but God-honoring and strong.  First, Sara was my mother's first name. We thought it very fitting to include this name as a sweet memory.  Also, we feel so blessed to have a "Abraham and Sarah" type blessing, as well! We know that the Lord has HAND-PICKED all of our children in very special and very different ways!  This birth, however, comes after years of professional opinions stating this wasn't possible or safe....  (but as Pastor Ricky says...) ...BUT GOD...  We have been so amazingly overwhelmed with so many "BUT GOD" stories in our lives!  With all 'common sense' and 'professional opinions' against Abraham and Sarah... BUT GOD said "I don't work in a common way nor ways fully known to man!"  He said it, and it was SO!  Chris and I feel similarly with this pregnancy and birth of our newest little blessing!  Sarah also means "Princess" in Hebrew!  Of course, she is our little Princess!  But we also pray that she will soon become a "Daughter to the King."

Bethany also has sweetness to it...  The place where Jesus' most loved family resided.  We can all gleam so many lessons from Lazarus, Mary and Martha and Jesus' interactions with them.  Jesus was also anointed at Bethany.  One book notes that Bethany means "Daughter of the Lord" in Hebrew.  ALSO, our boys are "Bethany Boys" as we coordinated their adoptions through Bethany Christian Services - so it just makes sense for our daughter to also share in a part of ALL the Lord is doing in and through Bethany Christian Services everyday!!  We have been blessed to have been a part of their adoption ministry around the world and believe deeply in the God-honoring way in which they serve families and children worldwide.

Drake is my middle name, and my grandfather's first name.  I've always loved my name being unique and different.  Recently, Daddy found many old pictures of his family growing up on the farm.  I have truly cherished all the sweet stories that Daddy has told about his father.  He was the only grandparent I never had the opportunity to meet, as he died when Daddy was in college, but I know I will meet him one day!!

Thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers during this pregnancy!  Our Doctor has been amazed at how well this pregnancy and delivery have gone... and we all humbly admit that we know it could have gone very differently!  BUT GOD had Greater plans!!

We stand over her and stare for what seems like hours, in the same way we have done each of our boys...  We are SO Blessed and we feel so UNWORTHY of such a Blessing!!

AMAZING GRACE is being showered all over us!  Thank you, Jesus!

Thank you all again so much!!  We Love You!

Disney World!!

We had planned to go to Hong Kong for Spring Break... We have always planned to take Caleb back to Hong Kong around age 10.  THEN.... I found out I was pregnant...  Flying to Hong Kong in my 3rd trimester wasn't exactly a good plan, we thought.

... SO ...

We decided to go to Disney World!  :)

We had so much fun and the boys were so great!!  They LOVED IT and because they had not ever been before they didn't have any huge expectations about what was to come!  It was INCREDIBLE!  The boys were excited to go back to the hotel and swim in the pool whenever we got tired... so it worked out so well!!  Love my Sweet Boys!!
