Packages!

We now have the school's address which is where you can send Packages. Please do not send Fed Ex, DHL, or UPS.... It needs to be US Postal Service. It may take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to get... And that's a very Rough estimation! Please be very General with desciptions on the Custom's form, or it may get stolen. Also, please claim less than $49.

How To...

I've been getting some questions about how to support us. Here Goes...

There are 3 different ways that you can support us. You can give Securely Online, Automatic Monthly Draft, or by mail. I will break them all down step by step. The important thing is to make sure and reference our Project Number #001909.
**Securely Online: You can visit www.nics.org and find the Donation Oppurtunities section. It will take you to a screen to donate from. You'll just pick 'Missionary Projects' and then include our number.
**Automatic Monthly Draft: Visit www.nics.org and find the Donation Oppurtunites section, and then pull down to the 'Automatic Donation Form'. This is a PDF form that you will download and return by mail with a voided check. Again, please make sure our number is on it next to the General Support check box.
**By Mail: Please make checks out to NICS and mail to PO Box 1260 Southaven, MS 38671. On the Memo line of the check, please include our project number, NOT OUR NAMES! This is a Uncle Sam rule! NICS will appropriate it to us.

If we receive cash donations that are intended for Support, we will have to write a check to NICS ourselves to make sure they get put through the fund. Also, our NICS account Zero's out each month, so 'Special Gifts' are wonderful and very much appreciated but it is up to us to stretch them out over time. We have been so blessed with several that will meet our start up needs. We are more in need of Monthly Commitments right now than anything. We are often asked by our administrator and NICS how much we have "COMMITTED", because they, understandably, need to know how we will be doing in May or October.

We COMPLETELY understand that not everyone has Large Amounts of money to send monthly, but 3 or 4 people donating $20 a month makes a HUGE IMPACT on the Field!! Our heart is not for any of this to be about Pride or Greed, because we CERTAINLY are not aiming to "make" any money, but Financial Stresses are the #1 reason that Missionaries come off the field. We would like to be as fully funded as possible so that we can thrive and give back as part of our ministry.

Thank you so much for reviewing that process. Please pray about how you and your family can invest in the Kingdom Work going on in Brasilia, Brazil! Please email us for any questions! If you have any concerns that need to be addressed by NICS, visit their website and contact them.

MUCH LOVE,
The Fryars

Visa Update Version 2.1.2

Ok... About 3 hours after we got news that Brazil needed another paper... Scott emailed us back and said that they KNEW they'd be asking for this paper, because the Official document was not in our packet because it was not ready at the time. It became ready in December, and they knew that they would ask for it... So Daniel was IN THEIR OFFICE with the Paper at 1pm our time today!! **Side Note: Isn't it GREAT that our school is in the Capital city - where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Brazil is!, and that Daniel just had to drive a short ways to get there!! No waiting on Mailing and all that stuff!!** Scott was pretty sure that they wouldn't need anything else, and was relieved it was only regarding the paper they knew about!! SO... THAT'S AWESOME!! YEAH! We hope that they may be in SOON!! AWESOME!!

**Of course... this is all due to the Awesome prayers that you guys lifted up for us! Thanks a million!!**

Visa Update Version 2.1.1

Ok... Here's some more specific things to pray about regarding the Visas. I got an email this morning that stated Daniel had checked on them yesterday, and everything was going Swimmingly... And then I got an email actually from the Visa Dept in Miami that stated that Brazil needs another paper from the school. While that usually would be a BAD THING... we have an Awesome Peace about it!! And we also found out that Brazil just notifies Miami Electronically that we have the Visa's... so no papers have to be MAILED from Brazil here... which will save at least a week!!

We are so at peace about the whole thing! God has this, and will supply in HIS timing!

Have a Super Blessed Day.... and PLANT SOME SEEDS that will have Eternal Fruit!!

Prayer Warriors UNITE!

Ok... so a corny title! Sounds more like a phrase from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, if any of you can remember them!!

Seriously though... We want to put a BIG PLUG out there for some Great Prayer Warriors!! PLEASE PLEASE pray for the VISA's!! We want you to be able to personally join in the celebration when we get them!! Things are so much more precious when you work for them!! PLEASE LET'S ALL PRAY DILIGENTLY AND URGENTLY about the VISA's!! Then I'll be able to write back and thank you for getting them here!!

Much Love!

Furry Friends!

Yesterday our little Sampson went to live with his new Family. It was a very sad day for Chris and I, as Sampson and Della have been with us for 9 years. Della went to her new Mommy this past Thursday, and is doing very well!! Cats are very independent, and we really had no doubt that Della would settle in well. Sampson is so much more emotional. He is a precious little one, and helped me get through all the days of chemo. He was my little buddy through the whole thing. Chris and I had many tears on Sunday. The hardest part was explaining to Caleb that he had to say "GoodBye" to Sampson. He understands as much as a 3 year old can.

Sampson now lives with a Great Family that we had not met before. They have a little Silky Terrier and a 2 year old little girl. We brought the dogs together, and they were fine. I got an email from her that said he was doing very well, that he slept with her last night, and spent most of the day sleeping at her feet while she studied. He's the best foot warmer! We are so blessed that God brought this family to us, in HIS perfect timing. We are so Glad he will be happy and taken care of, even though there is a little empty spot in our lives. We will miss him Greatly, but we are at Peace knowing where he is, and that he is happy. We love you, Sampson.

With a heavy heart...

STORM WARNING!

The Fryar Weather Service has issued this severe storm warning... As of January 19th, 2007 at 17:15, we do not have a sold house... Again... the Fryar Weather Service has issued a severe storm warning...

YEP! It's a STORM! But you know... we've been due on around here! Things have been going so swimmingly that we knew it could not all be happy, happy, joy, joy!

We found out last night, almost PRECISELY the time that I was leaving out the doors of the West Clinic for the last time... We were told that the fella buying our house had lost his job, and therefore negating our contract to close on the 31st. We were shocked... we both sat in disbelief! We were only a week and a half away from Closing. We've had a contract with them since the end of November!!

BUT... GOD IS BIGGER... GOD IS GREATER... GOD'S GOT THIS! AND GOD WANTS TO SHOW OUT A LITTLE BIT!! So... We will STAY THE COURSE... We are NOT going to let Satan get his foothold in here!! We are NOT going to be Shaken!!

As many of you probably got the email regarding this situation from Chris - this is his favorite passage:

Romans 8:31-34 - What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is FOR us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won't he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? NO ONE!! - For God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? NO ONE! - For Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us and he is sitting the place of honor at God's right hand, pleading for us!!!

How awesome is that!! Christ Jesus pleading for us AGAINST SATAN!

Read the following 5 verses and get even MORE insight into how awesome God's love for us is!!

Please join with us in the Trenches of Prayer over this matter. Please also pray that the VISA's come in this week. Please also pray for this family, as they are very distraught right now.
Thank you so much, and we love you dearly!!

News!

Hey!! We've had a good week of some great praises!! First off... We found out that they have Confirmed that our Visa applications did in fact arrive in Brazil. They actually arrived last week! (They were sent Dec 15th). The Minister of Foreign Affairs in Brazil will work through the stack in the order that they were received. So we are hoping to hear by the end of next week.

We got an email regarding our health insurance... and they are going to cover us the day after our expires!! HUGE PRAISE! We thought we would have to pay for Cobra for a month or two. We can't go even a day without coverage!

Our Support is doing pretty good, too! We were notified of some EXTRA money to be set aside for when we need to buy a car! That was So Awesome! God is providing for the future, as well as for today! Isn't that cool! At last status date, we are at about 67% of where we need to be.

My last day of work is tomorrow.... It's been hard to tell my patients and co-workers. Chris's replacement has started as of this week, so we cleaned his office out last weekend. Time is closing in fast...

We also took our Kitty to her new Mommy tonight! It was sad at first, but she'll really love it there. Judy called to say that she was curled up on the recliner watching TV, while Judy worked a puzzle. We are so blessed to have had God provide her with a loving home, that perfectly suits her needs!! Sampson's home is still pending...

We are staying really busy which may be a good thing, and a bad thing all in one! We are thinking it is a good thing, so that we don't dwell on the sadness of saying Goodbye, but a bad thing because we don't want to miss out on a golden opportunity. Please also pray that we do get some moments of peace and rest, as well, so that we can Savor the Full Flavor of God's Grace.

**Please change our email address to the Yahoo address! And My Work Cellphone will be turned in tomorrow! Please call Chris's Cell number for anything! If you don't have that number, please email us! (there is a link to the right!)**

Thanks so much for reading this and following us! I can't wait to share all the pictures from Brazil with you! AND THE FIRST PICTURE WILL BE THE TOILETS FLUSHING BACKWARDS!!!

Subject to Change....

Well, we are yet again overjoyed by God's AMAZING GRACE!! All house contracts are done! We will close on the house on Jan 31st! He knew exactly what we needed, and made it happen!! I am planning to quit work on Jan 19th. Caleb's last day at Christ the King will also be that day. Chris will work until Feb 2nd. AND WE PLAN TO FLY OUT ON FEB 7TH!! It's closing in... God provided us with a closing date that will only be one week shy of our departure date. That is so awesome! We have book Round-Trip tickets with a return date in the middle of June, we hope and pray all that will work out ok! But, as with so many things, it's 'Subject to Change!'

Another awesome thing... Chris's job JUST was allowed to be posted on 1/2/07. Chris knew that when it was posted he would have a ton of phone calls asking what was going on, so he asked Alan if he could share what was going on, and he agreed! Chris wrote a WONDERFUL letter detailing our testimony and what we were going to do. He ended with a statement that said that it was hard for him to leave the career he has known since Age 17, and his family and friends, but that he must now go and Follow as the Lord has led! We have received over 30 emails back from all over, from people that Chris has worked for, and many are professing how amazing it is that he is following the Lord and not seeking personal gain. Many are professing faith that Chris had never heard them talk about!! God is all over Kroger right now, and with people of influence, as well. We pray that in the same way that God used Jon and Rachel Isbell's testimony to call us, that HE will use our testimony to call others, and let them feel and taste this AWESOME SWEET SPOT of living in God's will!!! You can not imagine how great this is, unless you've been here!!

We have been a little bold to book Airline tickets without our Visa's but with 4 weeks to go, we are putting our Trust in the Lord that He will deliver in His timing! He has orchestrated this entire process so smoothly, that we are trusting with the same faithfulness that He has shown in all the other areas. Please go to the Father with us, regarding these Visa's.

We also need you guys to pray for our dog again. We are still needing a home for him. We have some pending options, but we need an arrangement to be made pretty quickly. Please also pray for the sale of our last car. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing a car.

Thank you so much for supporting us and praying for us!! We are so humbled by your loving kindness.

~Beverly
